Chlorine and pH Water Testing Meter

Description:

PH Water Tester and Chlorine Meter This 2-in-1 PH Water Tester and Chlorine Meter offers a hassle-free way of testing water quality. Ideal for use in ponds, spas, and pools, this simple to use analog device allows you to measure PH and Chlorine water contents with ease. Unlike water testing strips that require understanding of color coordination, this tester provides easy-to-read results, making it less prone to error. It’s portable, battery-powered, and efficient, bringing convenience at your fingertips. Significance of Testing Water Quality Maintaining correct PH levels and chlorine content in pools is pivotal in ensuring their safety for public use. Pools should ideally have chlorine levels between 1.2 to 1.7 pm and PH levels of 7.2 to 7.8. Pools with high PH lead to skin irritations and cloudiness in water due to low disinfection levels. Conversely, low PH indicates acidic water that can prompt eye infections and damage pool linings and other mechanical components. Proper testing facilitates informed decisions about chlorine adjustment and water replacement. How It Works Using this water tester is straightforward. Simply dip the metal prongs into the water for a few seconds, ensuring the watch stays above water. Wait for the pointer to completely stop, after which it will indicate the water quality results on its track. Note that this water tester requires 1 piece of AA battery (1.5V) to operate. Please be advised that the battery is not included in the package.
