The Optrel e684 PAPR is a premium integrated welding helmet system that combines the high-performance e684 auto-darkening welding helmet with powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) compatibility.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, it provides botheye protection and respiratory protection when paired with a compatible blower system.
This system is built for welders working in high-fume environments such as stainless steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, and continuous production welding where clean breathing air and optical clarity are essential.
Key Features
Integrated Respiratory Protection (PAPR Ready)
Designed to work with a powered air system that delivers filtered airflow into the helmet, creating positive pressure and helping reduce exposure to welding fumes and airborne contaminants.
ShadeTronic Automatic Shade Control
Automatically adjusts lens shade in real time based on arc intensity, eliminating the need for manual shade adjustments during welding.
Optical Class 1/1/1/1 Clarity
Top-tier optical rating for maximum visibility:
- Clear, distortion-free viewing
- Uniform shade across lens
- High angular consistency
- Minimal visual fatigue during long welds
True Color Lens Technology
Provides a more natural color spectrum for improved puddle visibility, arc control, and base material contrast.
FadeTronic After-Glow Control
Gradual transition from dark to light state after welding to reduce eye strain from sudden brightness exposure.
Grind Mode Function
Dedicated grinding mode allows safe use during surface prep without removing the helmet.
Multi-Sensor Arc Detection
Reliable arc detection system designed for low-amp TIG, tight spaces, and obstructed arc conditions.
