164-Piece Heat Shrink Wire Wrap Tubing Set

Description:

Presenting the Wire Shrink Wrap 164PC Set — a practical solution for secure wire connections. Suitable for an array of wire types, this set provides an efficient tool for mending cables, cords and other wiring. The set comes with 164 pieces of shrink wraps that vary in size and color for compatibility and identification purposes. A wire shrink wrap operates similarly to electrical tape. It’s main function is to insulate exposed wire. Advantageously, using a shrink wrap offers ease of use and a more polished result. The process of applying the wrap is simple. The non-adhesive nature eliminates any confusion about which side to use. You just slide the wire into the wrap, and then apply heat. This can be done using a hair blower or any device that produces hot air. Once heat is applied, the wrap begins to contract until it snugly and securely encompasses the wire. In certain conditions, the tightly shrunk wrap can even offer waterproof protection. The Wire Shrink Wrap set is versatile, this makes it useful for a range of household repairs. The color variety allows for wire color-coding, making future identification and troubleshooting more streamlined. The wrap offers a shrink ratio of 2:1. For optimal performance, it needs an operational temperature span of -55C to +125C. It boasts a tensile strength of 10.4 Mpa and a dielectric strength of 15 kV per mm. This combination of performance specifications highlights its adaptability and durability in preserving wire integrity.
