Description:
Product Description: The featured product is a board made for Allegro’s A4988 DMOS Microstepping Driver, equipped with a Translator and Overcurrent Protection. The Translator plays a crucial role in implementing the A4988 with ease. It only requires a single pulse input on the STEP input to drive the motor one microstep. This eliminates the need for high frequency control lines, complex interfaces, or phase tables for programming. Ideal for use in scenarios where a complex microprocessor is either unavailable or overburdened, the A4988 interface is the optimal fit. Product Features: Simple step and direction control interface. Wide variety of step resolutions: full-step, half-step, quarter-step, eighth-step, and sixteenth-step. Maximum output drive capacity is 35 V and 2 A. Adjustable current control that allows setting the maximum current output using a potentiometer. This enables the use of voltages above the rated voltage of your stepper motors to achieve a higher rate of steps. Intelligent chopping control facilitating the automatic selection of the correct current decay mode, which can be either fast decay or slow decay. Offers protection against over-temperature thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout, and crossover-currents. Ensures protection from short-to-ground and shorted-load situations. The Package Includes: A4988 stepper motor driver A heatsink A sticker
