The Caldwell Model DM24 Dura-Mod modular spreader beam system is designed for heavy-duty lifting applications requiring flexibility, easy transportation, and on-site assembly. The modular design allows users to configure beam spans from 3 feet to 24 feet by combining spreader sections, end fittings, and drop links.
The DM24 system supports loads up to 24 metric tons and is ideal for manufacturing, construction, steel fabrication, shipbuilding, and industrial maintenance. Components can be ordered individually or as a starter set, allowing users to build a spreader beam that meets specific lifting requirements. One bolt kit is included with each end fitting and spreader section, with additional bolt kits available separately.

FAQ
What is the Caldwell DM24 used for?
The DM24 is a modular spreader beam system designed for lifting loads up to 24 metric tons in industrial and construction applications.
What beam lengths are available?
The system can be configured in spans from 3 feet to 24 feet using interchangeable spreader sections.
Are slings and shackles included?
No. Slings and shackles must be supplied separately as part of your lifting system.
Can the hardware be reused?
Yes. Bolts, nuts, and washers may be reused when anti-seize thread coating is applied during assembly.
How is the beam capacity determined?
Capacity depends on the beam span and the base-to-sling angle. Refer to the Caldwell Capacity vs. Span chart to determine the proper configuration for your application.
