Chunky Terrazzo Glass is 100% recycled glass for terrazzo, countertops, aquariums, and DIY projects
American Specialty Glass Chunky Terrazzo Glass is a larger-cut terrazzo glass for projects that call for a bolder, more visible aggregate. Available in Chunky White, Chunky Orange, Chunky Yellow, and Chunky Red across four sizes from #0 (1/16"1/8") up to #3 (3/8"1/2"). Made from 100% recycled glass in the USA, precision-tumbled for consistent sizing and smooth edges.
Suitable for terrazzo flooring, concrete countertop seeding, aquariums, aquarium gravel, swimming pools, flower arrangements, and decorative DIY projects.
Note for Chunky Orange and Chunky Red: These colors contain copper, which becomes more visible with repeated heat exposure. If using in a fireplace or fire pit, the color may gradually change over time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Chunky Terrazzo and standard Terrazzo Glass?
Chunky Terrazzo Glass is cut larger than standard terrazzo sizes, creating a more prominent, visible aggregate in finished surfaces. Standard terrazzo glass is finer and better suited for smooth, polished applications. Both can be used in countertops, terrazzo, and aquariums depending on the look you want.
What size should I choose?
Smaller sizes (#0, #1) work well for countertop seeding and aquarium gravel where a finer aggregate is preferred. Larger sizes (#2, #3) create a bolder look in terrazzo flooring, decorative concrete, and landscaping accents.
Is this glass safe for aquariums?
Yes non-toxic and safe for fish, plants, and aquatic life.
Is this glass recycled?
Yes 100% recycled post-consumer and post-industrial glass, processed in the USA. LEED documentation available upon request.
