Grindlazer Hp Dc1021 G Gas-Powered Scarifier

Graco GrindLazer HP DC1021 G Gas-Powered Scarifier

The Graco GrindLazer HP DC1021 G Gas-Powered Scarifier (Part Number: 25M994) is a high-production walk-behind concrete and asphalt scarifier designed for professional line removal, surface profiling, and coating removal applications. Built for demanding commercial and roadway work, this unit combines a 21 HP Vanguard gasoline engine, a self-propelled high-production chassis, and a 10-inch cutting width to deliver efficient, controlled surface removal with reduced operator fatigue. It is engineered for precision work such as parking lot striping removal, roadway marking cleanup, and light-to-medium scarifying tasks.

Product Information

The DC1021 G is part of Gracos High Production Series and is optimized for aggressive yet controlled material removal on concrete and asphalt surfaces. Its reverse Up-Cut cutting direction improves removal efficiency for line striping, surface coatings, and inlay/grooving applications, making it especially effective in roadway and infrastructure maintenance work.

The unit is designed to be used with Gracos LineDriver system, which significantly increases productivity and reduces operator fatigue during long runs. The self-propelled configuration provides steady, consistent movement, allowing operators to maintain uniform depth and finish quality across large surface areas.

Depth control is managed through Gracos DialDown system, which allows easy, multi-position adjustment for precise cutting depth settings. The InstaCut system enables tool-free engagement of the cutting deck, improving flexibility for both removal and inlay work while allowing the deck to float over uneven surfaces for improved consistency. (

A vibration reduction system is built into the design, including pneumatic tires and ergonomic handle geometry, helping reduce operator fatigue during extended use. The machine also features a heavy-duty filtration system for improved engine life and reliability in dusty jobsite environments. (
