Description:
Turtle Basking Platform Pet Supply Upgrade your reptile or aquatic pet’s habitat with this Turtle Basking Platform. This platform caters to the unique and specific needs of individuals who engage in the care of unconventional pets, such as turtles. Essential for Reptiles Reptiles often require water to maintain their moist skin. However, unlike fishes, they do not need 24/7 water submersion. Therefore, they need an elevated spot to get dry and rest. The primary function of this platform is to provide a space for reptiles in their tank to retreat to dry land whenever they choose. The design is user-friendly, with a front ladder for easy access, and a spacious platform, allowing multiple pets to use it simultaneously. Plastic Composition The platform is made of plastic, which boasts significant benefits. Given its constant exposure to water, it’s vital for the platform to be waterproof. Wooden platforms can get decayed over time, contaminating the tank’s water and necessitating frequent water changes. Conversely, the plastic platform provides a hassle-free experience. In addition, it is easier to clean, especially if a pet leaves droppings on it. This lightweight platform is durable and requires zero additional tools for assembly. Note, the product is delivered unassembled, but easy setup guidance is provided.
