Superior Gold Evolution 250ml High-Clarity Stone Adhesive for Professional Fabricators
The Superior Gold Evolution is a professional-grade stone adhesive formulated for fabricators and installers working with natural stone, engineered quartz, and solid surface materials. Delivered in a 250ml cartridge format, this adhesive is designed for use with standard dispensing guns, making it well-suited to production shop environments and on-site installation work. The transparent-white color profile allows it to blend seamlessly into light-toned substrates, minimizing visible glue lines in finished installations. It is engineered to meet the demands of countertop fabrication, edge detailing, seam bonding, and repair work.
Compared to conventional polyester or standard epoxy adhesives, the Evolution formula offers improved clarity retention over time, reduced shrinkage at cure, and a bond strength profile suited to structural seaming applications. Its cartridge delivery system ensures consistent mix ratios and reduces waste versus hand-mixed alternatives, improving efficiency on volume production runs.
Key Features & Benefits
Transparent-White Colorway
The transparent-white formulation is specifically designed for use on light-colored stones, white quartz, and pale solid surfaces where adhesive visibility at the seam would compromise the finished appearance. Fabricators working with popular light engineered stone slabs benefit from a cleaner, more professional seam result without additional tinting.
250ml Cartridge Format
The pre-measured 250ml dual-component cartridge eliminates the guesswork and inconsistency of manual mixing. Using a standard dispensing gun, installers achieve a consistent mix ratio on every bead, reducing the risk of under-cured adhesive from improper blending and cutting down material waste across production runs.
Professional Bond Strength
The Evolution series adhesive is formulated to deliver structural-grade bond strength suitable for seaming, laminating, and rodding applications on stone countertops. A strong bond reduces the risk of seam failure under the mechanical and thermal stresses typical of kitchen and commercial surface environments.
Controlled Working Time
The adhesive provides a practical open time that allows fabricators to align and adjust pieces before the bond sets, which is critical when fitting large countertop sections or complex mitered edges. This controlled working window reduces re-work and adhesive failure from rushed assembly.
Versatile Substrate Compatibility
Formulated to adhere to a broad range of stone and solid surface materials, the Superior Gold Evolution reduces the need to stock multiple adhesive SKUs for different substrate types. One product covers natural granite, marble, quartz composite, and engineered stone applications on the fabrication bench.
Reduced Shrinkage on Cure
Low shrinkage during cure helps maintain tight, flush seam alignment as the adhesive sets. For fabricators producing high-end countertop work where seam tolerances are critical, this characteristic translates directly into fewer callbacks and a higher-quality finished product.
Common Applications
Countertop Seam Bonding
Joining two stone or engineered quartz sections at a seam is the primary application for this adhesive. The transparent-white color and strong bond make it well-suited for light-toned countertop installations where seam aesthetics are a priority.
Edge Lamination
Bonding edge strips or laminated edge buildup pieces to countertop slabs requires an adhesive with sufficient open time and strong shear resistance. The Evolution cartridge format delivers consistent adhesive volume along the full edge length.
Mitered Edge Assembly
Mitered waterfall edges and decorative profiles demand precise alignment and a clean glue line. The cartridge dispensing system and controlled working time support accurate assembly of complex miter joints.
Crack and Chip Repair
Filling hairline cracks, chips, or voids in stone surfaces is a common shop and field repair task. The transparent-white formulation blends into light substrates to produce a less visible repair on pale stone varieties.
Rodding and Reinforcement Bonding
Setting fiberglass or metal reinforcing rods into routed channels on the underside of stone slabs requires an adhesive that fills the channel void and bonds to both the rod and stone substrate. The Evolution adhesive is suitable for this structural reinforcement application.
Sink and Undermount Cutout Reinforcement
Bonding reinforcement pieces around undermount sink cutouts helps prevent cracking at stress points. A reliable, high-strength adhesive at these locations reduces the risk of structural failure after installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What dispensing gun is required for the 250ml cartridge?
A: The 250ml cartridge is designed for use with a standard dual-component dispensing gun compatible with 250ml cartridges and the appropriate mix ratio for this product. Confirm the mix ratio with the supplier to select the correct mixing nozzle.
Q: Is transparent-white suitable for dark or heavily veined stone?
A: Transparent-white is optimized for light-colored substrates such as white or light grey quartz and pale natural stone. For darker stones or heavily pigmented materials, a tinted or color-matched adhesive variant would produce a less visible seam line.
Q: Can this adhesive be used for outdoor stone applications?
A: Verify UV and weather resistance specifications with Superior Stone Products before specifying this adhesive for exterior or high-UV-exposure applications. Many interior stone adhesives have limited outdoor durability without UV stabilization.
Q: What is the shelf life of the cartridge?
A: Shelf life data was not available from the source page. Contact Superior Stone Products or your Diamond Tool Store representative to confirm shelf life and proper storage temperature requirements before stocking in volume.
Q: How does the Evolution differ from the standard Superior Gold adhesive?
A: The Evolution series represents an updated formulation within the Superior Gold product line, typically featuring improvements in clarity retention, bond strength, or working characteristics over the predecessor formula. Consult the manufacturer's product documentation for a direct comparison of performance parameters.
Q: Can this product be tinted or color-matched for specific stone colors?
A: The transparent-white cartridge is a pre-formulated color. For color matching to specific stone slabs, Superior Stone Products and similar manufacturers typically offer a range of color cartridges or pigment additives. Contact your DTS sales representative for available color options in the Superior Gold Evolution line.
