How to Use Superior RESIN COLORING PASTE
Superior RESIN COLORING PASTE is formulated to provide seamless color matching across all Superior adhesive systems, including polyester, vinyl ester, acrylic, poly-epoxy, blends, and epoxy adhesives.
Application Instructions
1. Dispense Adhesive
Place the required amount of Superior adhesive into a clean, disposable mixing container.
2. Add Coloring Paste
Gradually add small amounts of Superior RESIN COLORING PASTE, beginning with lighter colors such as white before adding darker pigments like black.
- Do not exceed 5% coloring paste by volume relative to the adhesive.
3. For Pre-Colored Adhesives
When modifying pre-tinted adhesives, use smaller amounts of coloring paste to prevent oversaturation and maintain adhesive performance.
4. Mix Thoroughly
Blend until the color is completely uniform throughout the adhesive. Once mixed, add the appropriate hardener according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions before application.
5. Before Reuse
If the coloring paste has been stored for an extended period, shake thoroughly before use to ensure even pigment distribution.
Storage Guidelines
- Store indoors at room temperature, preferably below 75F (24C).
